What's your next step?

At Central Baptist Church, we want to help you follow Jesus in every part of life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Wherever you are in your journey, there’s always a next step—and we’re here to walk with you as you grow.

GET BAPTIZED
Baptism is a meaningful step of obedience and celebration. It’s a public expression of the new life Jesus has given you. If you’re ready to be baptized or want to learn more, we’d love to talk with you and help you take that step.

BECOME A MEMBER
Church membership is more than attending, it’s a commitment to belong, serve, and grow together. As members, we enter into a covenant relationship with one another, pursuing Christ and supporting the mission of the church with intentionality and care.

SERVE & CONNECT

You have a place here. God has uniquely gifted you, and there are many ways to use those gifts to serve others. We believe in the power of Christian fellowship, which is why we offer groups for every age and stage. Take a step toward community and find where you belong.

GROW IN FAITH
No matter what you’re facing, questions about faith, relationships, finances, or life, we want to walk alongside you. Through discipleship and community, we’re here to help you grow and follow the path God has for you.

GIVE GENEROUSLY
Giving is an act of worship and trust. When you give, you’re joining in what God is doing both locally and globally. Generosity not only impacts others—it shapes your heart and deepens your faith in powerful ways.

Our Biggest Concern

Our biggest concern is not whether you choose to visit us, BUT whether you have a genuine relationship with God the Father and his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Expect When I Visit?

Visiting a new church can be awkward, nerve-wracking, and sometimes even frustrating. We’d like to make your visit to CBC as worry-free and as spiritually beneficial as possible. During Sunday School, children and teens have classes that are specifically designed for their grade level, while infants and toddlers are cared for in our nursery. Our adult class begins at 10 AM where we study the Bible in some detail. Questions are welcomed as we share in open discussion. Our goal during this time is to discover what the text says, what it means, how it fits in with the rest of Scripture, and then how we can live out that truth in 21st century America.

What are the Worship Services Like?

We gather in worship at CBC to bring God glory and honor in recognition of who he is and all that he’s done. We also gather to hear from the Lord as Scripture is opened from the pulpit. God breathed out his Word so that we might have his direction and strength, equipping us for whatever we face in life.

We believe that God-honoring worship will also powerfully engage the human heart and spirit. In our times of worship, we use music that exalts Christ with some of the best dynamic Hymns and “spiritual songs” of praise (Ephesians 5:19). We believe these great time-honored hymns of faith best bring honor to our Savior.

How do People Dress?

We do not have a dress code at CBC, though we do encourage people to dress modestly. You will find that our ministry leaders and many of our church members dress for Sunday services in what could be called traditional “Sunday Dress”. It is our desire however that everyone at CBC feel comfortable and right at home, regardless of how they are dressed. We come together to worship the Lord and to enjoy his presence. As such, we are more concerned with a person’s heart and soul than we are with what they happen to be wearing.

Is There Nursery Care?

Yes, there is nursery care available for all services.
